Alan, from Johannesburg, is now a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (inadvertently called “Mormons” by friends of other faiths). But he wasn’t always a Mormon. Alan did grow up in a Christian home where he learned basic Christian beliefs. After two of his brothers died in a car accident he wanted to find greater happiness in the truths from God. He found that happiness after he was introduced to Mormonism from his friend.
